DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back

  • You can drop off your old, unneeded, or unused medications at one of the more than 16,500 pharmacies, hospitals, and businesses, working to help clean out medicine cabinets throughout the year. In addition, many police departments provide year-round drop boxes.

People's Fridge

Community fridge where anyone can take free food, and anyone can leave produce donations. It is free and open to all.

Pop-Up People's Pantry

Free food distribution available to all community members, located at 936 W. 18th St, Merced, CA. every Saturday from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

USDA Food Distribution

USDA's food distribution programs strengthen the nutrition safety net through the distribution of USDA Foods and other nutrition assistance to children, low-income families, emergency feeding programs, Indian reservations, and the elderly.  It serves UCM and MCC students, staff, and Merced County residents in need of critical food assistance that meet the household income guidelines set by the United States Department of Agriculture.
